Auto Bluetooth lets you automatically activate or deactivate your device's Bluetooth.

The Auto Bluetooth app is capable of automatically activating your Android device's Bluetooth whenever you receive an incoming call. As a result, you will be able to instantly use any paired device the second you pick up the call. Furthermore, the Auto Bluetooth application can also deactivate your phone's Bluetooth as soon as you end the call.

One interesting option that you will find in this application's settings allows you to set the Bluetooth to be activated any time you plug your device in to charge. If you choose this option, then the Bluetooth will automatically deactivate when the device is unplugged or finishes charging. Auto Bluetooth also gives you the choice to leave the Bluetooth on after you have hung up on the call.

Thanks to its versatile settings, Auto Bluetooth is an application that many users will find helpful for managing their devices' Bluetooth settings automatically.

Permissions required by Auto Bluetooth

  • BLUETOOTH: Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.
  • BLUETOOTH_ADMIN: Allows applications to discover and pair bluetooth devices.
  • READ_PHONE_STATE: Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
  • RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting. If you don't request this permission, you will not receive the broadcast at that time. Though holding this permission does not have any security implications, it can have a negative impact on the user experience by increasing the amount of time it takes the system to start and allowing applications to have themselves running without the user being aware of them. As such, you must explicitly declare your use of this facility to make that visible to the user.
